The Austrian Women's Football Team feel at home in the AVITA Resort
The European women's football heroes hosted in Bad Tatzmannsdorf for the 7th time
Last year, the Austrian women's national football team laid the groundwork for the summer fairy tale that peaked with third place in the European Championships in Holland with their team camps in the AVITA Resort****Superior.
Now the team under successful coach Dominik Thalhammer - have returned - already for the 7th time - to the Bad Tatzmannsdorf FOOTBALL ARENA to prepare for the World Cup qualifiers against Serbia and Spain from 2 to 10 April 2018.
Both training and regeneration are on the agenda for Viktoria Schnaderbeck, Laura Feiersinger, Manuela Zinsberger, Nina Burger, Sarah Zadrazil and the rest.
Team Manager Dominik Thalhammer: "Both the surroundings and the people here are simply enchanting. We feel very at ease - truly our every wish is fulfilled. The resort and the entire infrastructure could not be better for a training camp. The combination of training, regeneration and excellent food – simply perfect!"
The highlight in the qualification was the big game against Spain on 10 April! The Austrian selection were close behind the group favourite with 0:1 and were unfortunately not rewarded for their strong and brave performance.
AVITA Hotel Manager Peter Prisching: "My entire team is extremely proud to have hosted Dominik Thalhammer and his lovely team again with us! Despite the defeat they are still the greatest for us!"
