Peace Trail S21
This charming circular trail starts via Glockenstraße and leads to just before the idyllic forest pond. Along the marked route, it leads through extensive forests and gentle meadow paths to Drumling.
The route continues to the peaceful town of Stadtschlaining, where the imposing Friedensburg castle is impressive. Breathtaking views as far as the Hochwechsel can be enjoyed along the higher sections.
The way back is mostly along a pleasantly shady forest path and finally leads back to the starting point.
Highlights of this tour: Friedensburg Stadtschlaining, the Protestant and Catholic churches, the Jewish synagogue and relics of the Jewish cemetery.

A wonderful circular hiking trail that starts in Bad Tatzmannsdorf and leads along the picturesque Glockenstraße to the idyllic forest pond. The trail continues through extensive forests and gentle meadows to Neustift. The return route runs via the Sulzriegel district and the spa gardens back to the starting point.
For an enjoyable break, we recommend a stop at Gasthaus Koller in Neustift near Schlaining – here you can enjoy hospitality throughout the day without a day off.
Burgblickweg S22
On this 11-kilometre circular hiking trail, the Friedensburg Schlaining is always in view. Before Schönau, it is worth taking a short break at the rest area – a fantastic panoramic view awaits you here. Interactive binoculars offer exciting insights into the surroundings.
Tip: A detour to Petra Lindenbauer’s ceramics studio is worthwhile! Here you can discover unique handmade pieces – a special souvenir to take home.

Village circular route
Some of Bad Tatzmannsdorf‘s most beautiful sights and attractions await you on the 3.2-kilometre village trail. The trail starts at Joseph-Haydn-Platz and leads through the 400-year-old spa gardens, where various healing springs can be discovered.
Continue along the slightly ascending Bahnhofstraße to the start of the Bahntrassenweg, which leads directly to the viewing platform. From here, a fascinating view opens up over (almost) the whole of Bad Tatzmannsdorf. The way back leads through Josef-Hölzel-Allee, further along Kirchenstraße and finally back to the starting point.
