Word has spread that the AVITA Resort is at the top of its game when it comes to sauna expertise. With its total 25 saunas throughout the resort, including specialties such as the Snow sauna or the Uhudler sauna, a separate sauna area only for women – the Lady’s Spa – and the spacious Sauna Garden Eden, where nude sunbathing and nude bathing becomes an experience, the hearts of all sauna fans and those who want to become one, beat faster! In addition to the variety, there is another success factor of this very special sauna world, namely the sauna team with its competent sauna masters!
Not all infusions are the same - professional training and the necessary portion of passion are indispensable for the perfect infusion experience!

We would like to congratulate one of our team's sauna champions on this occasion: Laura Szabados was able to achieve third place at the "Aufguss Masters" in Bad Hofgastein with her "Wonder Woman Aufguss"!
We took this award as an opportunity to chat a bit with Laura about her sauna passion!

Thank you very much, I am very happy about this success, especially because I have not been a sauna master for long.
How did you discover your passion for saunas and how did you end up becoming a sauna master?
I have always enjoyed going to the sauna to switch off and relax. However, I was not aware for a long time that you can also work there. Due to a professional reorientation about 1 ½ years ago, I thought to myself, why not? I took a sauna course and got through it!
You didn't just take off professionally, did you?
That’s right, my course instructor is now also my partner. So saunas have brought me luck in many ways.
Can you tell us a little bit about your "Wonder Woman infusion" that got you third place?
In the competition, different criteria are judged by six international experts, including:
Professionalism
Heat increase: here I work with 2 ice balls each, for 3 rounds. So a total of 6 ice cream scoops, usually there are only 3. This can gradually achieve a great increase in heat, causing a great tingling sensation and goose bumps.
Waving techniques: I wave 2 towels, one in each hand.
Fragrance selection: I use 3 scents per ice cream scoop, which are matched to each other. This is also unusual and was praised by the jury.
Theme, show elements, emotions/creativity/atmosphere: For me, I wanted to choose a theme that I could relate to. I am a strong woman and so it was quickly clear – Wonder Woman fits perfectly! I have a shield filled with water and used for infusion. With images, music and the right lighting mood, I try to achieve a build-up of tension.
What do you particularly like about the Sauna Garden of Eden at AVITA?
The size and variety of saunas is definitely worth highlighting, my absolute favorite sauna is the lakeside sa una. Most of our guided infusions also take place there. I like Finnish hot saunas with low humidity.
The social interaction is also special at AVITA. There are very many regular guests who meet to take a sauna together and perform guest infusions.
