Natural swimming pond at the AVITA Therme
Right in the heart of the AVITA Therme garden lies the 1,200 m² organic natural swimming pond, which is perfect for a dip and a refreshing swim during the summer months. Natural, crystal-clear water, water lilies and reed beds characterise the spacious grounds; around a third of the biotope is available for swimming.
On warm days, the natural spring water offers refreshment, whilst peaceful spots around the pond invite you to linger. This way, a visit to the thermal baths in the heart of Bad Tatzmannsdorf combines relaxation with a touch of nature.
Picnic at the Romantiksteg
There are 13 romantic jetties right by the natural swimming pond, perfect for relaxing moments for two. Book your own jetty in advance and enjoy your very own special moment right by the water.
You can choose a ‘picnic basket for two’. Filled with Italian, Burgenland or vegan delicacies, it’s the perfect accompaniment to your time together by the natural swimming pond and turns your day at the spa into a little break from everyday life.
Thermal adventure pool in the natural swimming pond
Those who prefer warmer water can immerse themselves in the blissfully warm thermal water right in the middle of the natural swimming pond: the integrated experience pool has a temperature of 36 °C and offers unobstructed views of the natural surroundings. Massage jets in the water provide additional relaxation.
The natural swimming pond is particularly atmospheric in the evening: torches and lighting effects set the outdoor area aglow, whilst the starry sky above the warm thermal waters draws the eye upwards. This allows you to enjoy the combination of thermal baths, spa and nature well into the evening.
