Spa
1. do I have to reserve my berth online?
To secure a guaranteed berth for your spa day, we recommend booking online at https://shop.avita.at/resources/category/.
Loungers can be reserved only in conjunction with a day ticket.
Your selected lounger will be reserved for you until 12:00. Unless a different arrival time has been announced at the spa reception, your sunbed reservation will be forfeited. The payment made in advance will not be refunded.
If you do not wish to make a reservation, the thermal bath and sauna occupancy display on our homepage provides information about the current number of visitors. There are two things to keep in mind here:
- The utilization is constantly updated and can change accordingly quickly
- The occupancy rate includes both the thermal baths and the sauna area. As a result, it may happen that the only available spots are in the sauna area. (Sauna surcharge: €15.50)
If it is not possible for you to reserve online, sunbeds will be assigned on site depending on availability. On busy days, the spa may be completely full, i.e. guests without a reservation will no longer be admitted.
2. from when is it possible to reserve a berth?
Online berth reservation is possible only in connection with the purchase of a day ticket and at the earliest 14 days in advance.
The online calendar is automatically unlocked for this time interval and the color scheme changes from red to green.
3. where can I see the current spa and sauna occupancy rate?
The current utilization of our thermal spa incl. Sauna is shown as a percentage in the beige circle in the information bar.
4. I have a voucher, how can I redeem it?
Service voucher:
Your voucher can be redeemed on site according to the service purchased. Valid 365 days from issue, redeemable thereafter with surcharge.
Gift Certificate: Your gift certificate can be redeemed for all services at the AVITA Resort.
We accept the following gift certificates: AVITA gift certificates , Webhotels, WellCard, Burgenland gift certificates, the Bad Tatzmannsdorf Guest Card, Tatz Taler, Uniqa gift certificates, mail-in offers, and the Burgenland Card.
Note regarding the WellCard: The WellCard can only be redeemed for spa admissions and hotel stays. It cannot be used for food and beverage purchases, to add credit to the BonusCard, or to pay the fitness center membership fee. The WellCard cannot be redeemed for discounted promotions—however, standard packages are accepted. Not valid during fall break, Christmas break, or New Year’s Eve, nor for group bookings (e.g., seminars, weddings, bus tours).
Note regarding web hosting and Thermenwelt gift certificates:
Redeemable for admission and hotel stays, but not toward any top-ups to the Bonuscard,
not for the fitness center membership fee, and not for food and beverage purchases.
5. how much does it cost to reserve a sun bed?
The price for your guaranteed berth is € 5,00 per person per day only in connection with the day ticket.
6. which payment methods are possible for online reservation?
Currently, payment by credit card (VISA and Mastercard) and instant bank transfer is possible.
7 I stay overnight in a partner establishment (Waldfriede, Kaplan, Weiss, Treiber, Spiegel, Simon, Martinihof, Kastell). How can I make a reservation?
As a guest of one of our partner establishments, you’ll receive a 20% discount on spa admission. You’ll receive the booking code you need directly from your host. With this code, you can conveniently book your lounge chair and spa admission online. The discount will be applied automatically. Please note that it is not possible to make a reservation and then pay on site.
8. what is the access regulation?

9. what are the opening hours of the spa?
(bathing and sauna closing time 30 minutes before indicated opening hours).
September–May
- Sun – Thurs: 9.00 to 22.00
- Friday: 9.00 till 00.30
- Saturday: 9.00 till 23.00
June–August
- Sun–Thu: 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

11. what are the areas/recliners?
You can choose between the following areas when reserving sunbeds:

Sauna Garden of Eden
1. how many saunas are there?
16 saunas in the Sauna Garten Eden, 4 saunas in the Lady’s Spa and 4 saunas in the AVITA Exklusiv (for hotel guests)
2. what are the opening hours?
The Sauna Garden Eden is open Monday to Thursday and Sunday from 09:00-22:00, Friday from 09:00-00:30 and Saturday from 09:00-23:00.
3. how much is the entrance fee to the sauna area?

4. are there any discounts?
There are discounts for schoolchildren, apprentices, military servants, students up to 26 years. Please note that discounts are valid only upon presentation of a valid ID. Please see our homepage for exact prices.
5. what are the highlights in the sauna Garden of Eden?
Highlights include, above all, the wide variety of 16 saunas in the Sauna Garden of Eden, the AVITA Lady’s Spa —a special sauna area exclusively for women—the option to sunbathe and swim nude, the themed and special infusions, the Event Lake Sauna with spectacular show infusions, the large relaxation area, the sauna bar, as well as the Uhudler sauna and Austria’s first snow sauna.

In the Lady’s Spa in Bad Tatzmannsdorf there are 4 different saunas exclusively for women.

The AVITA Lady’s Spa, the wellness area for women, is open daily from 09:00.

4. what are the highlights of the Lady's Spa?
Highlights include the aroma steam bath, the Finnish sauna, the steam bath and the infrared lounge. The relaxation room invites you to unwind.
5. what is a lady's spa?
A Lady’s Spa is a spa purely for women. The Lady’s Wellness area is aimed exclusively at women. It also covers the needs of those women who prefer to keep to themselves at the time. These women’s areas form retreat zones, and thus the perfect environment for girlfriend weekends or girls’ days at the spa.

AVITA Check In & Out
- On the day of arrival you are welcome to use the AVITA Therme incl. spa from 09.00 a.m. onwards. Sauna Garden of Eden and AVITA Lady’s Spa as well as AVITA exclusive area free of charge. You will receive your bath bag with bathrobe and bath towels at the hotel reception. Your room will be at your disposal from 14.00.
- We ask that you vacate your room by 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure. After check-out, you may use the AVITA Resort facilities all day at a 50% discount off the current daily rate for a day pass.
- Depending on the occupancy, we allow you to use your room until 18.00 on the day of departure. Extra charge: € 68,00 per room. For more information, please contact our reception.payment information
- Unless there is a credit card guarantee, a deposit of 50% of the amount is due at check-in. The remaining payment incl. Invoicing takes place at departure
- We are happy to accept cash as well as ATM, Visa or Mastercard.
