Indulgence, entertainment and relaxation – that’s the AVITA Gourmet Week!
For the 17th time, the AVITA Resort will be transformed into a culinary highlight where you can feel and taste the region. For one week, a varied program with fine cuisine, special events and unforgettable moments awaits you. From sociable get-togethers and the popular pleasure hike to the glamorous star guest gala – here you will experience pleasure in its most beautiful form, rounded off by the unique wellness offers of our resort.

To kick off the gourmet week, we cordially invite you to get into conversation over sparkling champagne, fine finger food creations and atmospheric live music. A wonderful opportunity to greet familiar faces and get to know new guests.

Gourmet mile & kitchen party 12.30 - 14.00 hrs | Monday
Taste your way through a variety of delicious stations, experience our kitchen team up close in action and take a look behind the scenes. There will also be time for a personal chat with our chefs in a relaxed kitchen party atmosphere.

Pleasure hike 10.45 - 17.00 hrs | Tuesday
Together we hike through the idyllic natural scenery of the region and stop off at several gourmet stops, where fine delicacies await for refreshment. The crowning finale is at the AVITA: barbecue with Wolfgang & Felix, accompanied by sweet temptations such as strudel and Burgenland croissants in the hotel garden

Star guest gala from 17.30 hrs | Wednesday
One of the absolute highlights of the week: enjoy a brilliant 7-course gala dinner from head chef Markus Marhanek and his brigade. Each course is a culinary work of art, perfectly accompanied by exquisite wines selected by restaurant manager and wine expert Wolfgang Pöll. An evening full of indulgence, elegance and red-carpet style, where every guest becomes a star.

Burgenland tapas & traditional evening 12.30 - 14.00 & from 18.00| Thursday
Medita head chef Peter Nemeth and his team present their culinary skills in free cooking and surprise you at lunchtime with creative tapas variations that combine the best of regional cuisine with Mediterranean flair. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Burgenland evening with hearty specialties - a piece of home, lovingly reinterpreted.

Pleasure cycling & market day 09.30 - 13.30 & from 18.00 | Friday
Start with us on a guided bike tour along the picturesque railroad cycle path with a stop at the traditional Gasthof Neubauer in Oberwart. In the evening, experience the market day: regional producers such as Hatwagner, Bäckerei Bayer, Fischgünther, Bio-Gemüse Fink, Kernöl Resetar and Organics Kirnbauer present their specialties, which are also included in the evening dinner.

We celebrate on the hotel terrace with a beer tapping and live music. In the evening, a large buffet full of regional delicacies awaits you, presenting the diversity of Austria in a delicious way.
