Weinidylle Nature Park
Meadows and fields, alluvial forests and marshland, sparse pastures and old oak groves make the Weinidylle, which simultaneously denotes the wine-growing region, an attractive piece of land. In addition, the small vineyards and romantic lanes of wine cellars inviting you to enjoy some local wine are typical here. The most important sights include the protected cellar quarter of Heiligenbrunn, the Pilgrimage Church of Maria Weinberg, the Moschendorf Wine Museum and the Stone Museum in Csaterberg.
Raab – Örsèg – Goricko Nature Park

Situated in the border triangle of Austria – Hungary – Slovenia, not only do different languages and cultures meet, but also diverse types of landscapes in the Nature Park here. The exceptional countryside can best be discovered on themed hikes, and culinary specialities such as the Uhudler or freshly pressed apple juice make the excursion complete.
Geschriebenstein-Írottkö Nature Park
The Geschriebenstein-Írottkö Nature Park also crosses national borders, consisting primarily of a large forest area surrounding the highest elevation in Burgenland, the Geschriebenstein. On the south side of the natural paradise, there is an attractive natural and plant world with meadow orchards, dry grasslands, vineyards and fruit growing.

Bernstein Castle
Bernstein Castle, which operates as a hotel today, can be visited as part of a tour (advance registration required) through the wonderful gardens, knights' hall and chapel. In addition, the castle has an inviting café with outdoor seating in the cosy courtyard.
Schlaining Castle
As the headquarters of the Austrian unique Study Centre for Peace and Conflict Resolution, Schlaining Castle is home to the European Museum for Peace. The subject of "Violence and Peace" is treated clearly and in an educationally valuable way here. Further highlights are the castle keep, the castle chapel, the knights' hall and the castle tomb arranged with the green facility.
The Klangfrühling and Klangherbst festivals enjoy great popularity at Schlaining Castle. The festival in the historic castle arena has been drawing music and culture enthusiasts to Stadtschlaining for many years.

Güssing Castle
The oldest castle in Burgenland towers above an extinct volcanic cone in Stremtal bei Güssing and today houses a museum with more than 5,000 items in one part of the stronghold. It is also worth seeing the accessible clock tower, which offers a far-reaching view as far as the Pannonian lowlands.
