Special tracks and running circuits

The diverse running and special tracks that are unique in Austria in this combination will have the hearts of every runners racing and offer that "certain extra" for everyone.
- Cross-country track in Kurpark (500m) - for joint-sparing running and walking.
Running or walking on the cross-country track in the Kurpark of Bad Tatzmannsdorf is good for the movement system. The cross-country track is a readily run flooring in Northern Europe and allows for joint-sparing running or walking through its special construction, similar to that of a forest floor. For advanced runners or walkers, the cross-country track also offers regenerative units for muscle, tendons and joint recovery in an ideal way.
Artificial turf track (309m) - for regenerative running or walking
All year round, running on the water-permeable artificial turf material, which is filled with quartz sand underneath, gives the user a feeling of running on natural turf. Whether you run barefoot or with shoes, the joint-sparing properties of this track are keenly noticed. The track invites you to concentrate entirely on your feet and the soles of your feet while running, how softly your foot rolls over and how gently you run.
- Sensomotoric barefoot course (240m) - for barefoot runners on varying surfaces.
Running or walking on all kinds of surfaces and conditions not only strengthens the foot muscles, but also your awareness. Sand, gravel or cross-country surfaces, grit, turf, forest floor or granulate alternate with each other. Running and walking slowly, exactly paying attention to the way your foot roll over.
- 2 orienteering fixed tracks - for hiking and running with a map and compass.
Tip: The orienteering hiking & running maps can be obtained from the Guest Information Office in Bad Tatzmannsdorf for a fee of €1.50 each.
Our tip: Running at sunrise
Running a small circuit and relaxing briefly in the in-house natural swimming pond or the therapeutic thermal water even before breakfast gives you an indescribable feeling, awakes unimagined powers and makes the first meal of the day taste twice as good.
